Jesus quietly began washing the disciples’ feet, and over the course of that event, He gradually revealed why He was doing it. First, the need to be washed by our Savior before we take the bread and wine. And second, the need to love and care for one another, symbolized by washing each other’s feet. We will explore some of the many scriptures that elaborate on these two important ideas.
