A Willing Sacrifice

In a few short weeks, baptized members of the Church will come together to observe the annual Passover. As we reflect and prepare for this special service, we often revisit the accounts of Jesus Christ's life and death. We've all heard the phrase, "Christ died for our sins," but do we stop and reflect on the full meaning of that statement? Do we comprehend just how much He went through, and truly appreciate it? Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for all mankind - and He made it willingly. He willingly endured the pain, ridicule, suffering, and more, without complaint or hesitation. If we are willing to accept Him as the sacrifice for our sins, we have a responsibility to live Godly lives. He gave His life so that we could live, so it's worth knowing what He went through. Let's take a deeper look at all that Christ willingly endured.
