Wise as a Serpent, Gentle as a Dove
Christ sent his disciples out after giving them power to cast out demons, to heal, and to preach the gospel. He warned them of the dangers they would face along the way, and admonished them to "Be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves". Much of what Christ warned them of are still facing us as His disciples today. How are we to blend such seemingly opposite images and survive as sheep among wolves?
