Sometimes, when words fail us, we can take comfort in the word of God and his promises.

    Very hope, and comforting message. i also like that you said we can learn some good from the Amish. i would guess there would be far less of old lonesome singles in the churches of God, if we were a bit less modernistic, and did things a bit more like the Amish. I think some of us old timer singles would have had a chance to marry.

    I can relate sir. My first, and one of the few lady friends i had hoped to marry, ended her life with an overdose, in 1982. I was 27 then. Both were pretty new in the church. I was 27. She died at 21. I am 63, now, still single, and no special someone yet. Life is tough.
