No matter how severe a trial is, we should never assume God isn’t listening or doesn’t care. He sees lessons we need to learn that are beyond our present understanding. We need always to remember some excellent advice from King David: “Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD!” (Psalms 27:14).
