Zechariah 6-7

This bible study deals with the time of Christ, at the beginning of the Feast of Tabernacles, at sunset there was the Illumination of the Temple Ceremony.  In the court of the women, surrounded by galleries filled with spectators, four candelabras, or menorahs, would be brightly lit and there were songs and dances of praise for God all night long.  The light reminded the Jewish people of how God was with them in the wilderness as a pillar of light.  Christ made a claim during His time on earth that He was the light of the world.  We are to walk in the light of the world, which is Christ.
