Proverbs: Protected By Integrity

1 minute read time

Wisdom that sticks with you - straight from God's Word.

“Wicked people bring about their own downfall by their evil deeds, but good people are protected by their integrity” (Proverbs 14:32, GNT).

This proverb reflects the principle that you generally will reap what you sow. We often see this in politicians and world leaders who try to engineer their way to success, but step on and destory others to get there. They usually suffer for their decisions in the end.

King David made many bad choices and sinned against God, but he, unlike others, repented and through God's forgiveness restored his relationship with God. It takes integrity to repent, and admit when we are wrong. It also takes interity to obey God's commandments and keep His way of life in a world that is completely counter to that true way. God provides for those who are wholy commited to His way of life.

How is your integrity?
