[Gary Petty] Well, we're back this week in the Beyond Today studios where we're producing three new programs. And one of the programs we're going to be working on is about marriage. We hope it's actually going to be a series on why God created marriage and why Christians should work on and produce happy marriages the way God wants it. And, Steve, you're working on one on clean and unclean meats.

[Steve Myers] Yeah, clean and unclean meats is the topic of my program, but it takes a while to get to it because the whole issue of food, God wraps it around the idea of holiness and it separates us in what we think, what we eat, what we do—and it all comes together under the guise of, what is good behavior? What is wrong behavior? What is righteous and what is holy? And so we're hoping to put it together in an interesting way that will hold peoples' attention and really get them to check into their Bibles and what it really says about it.

[Darris McNeely] I've started a series, too, with my program this week called "Living in Modern Babylon." In Revelation 18, God says to His people about Babylon, "Come out of her My people. Do not be partakers of her sins" (Revelation 18:4). We've gone back to the book of Daniel and started with chapter 1 to show just exactly what that means through the life of Daniel and looking at prophecy a little bit differently in the book of Daniel. We're going to do a series. We started with chapter 1 where Daniel and his friends refuse to eat from the meat of the king's table. We'll move into chapter 2 and chapter 5—take certain stories out of the book of Daniel and show exactly how Daniel lived in Babylon of his day to draw lessons as to how you and I can live godly in modern Babylon today and in a sense, come out of her.

[Steve Myers] I think one of the interesting things about all three of our programs is they get down to a personal level so that here Daniel, a real person that relates to us—we can relate to Daniel. With my program the same way, that even what we eat and what we do relates to our personal life. Gary's, I think the interviews that he has on his program with married couples will really grab peoples' attention and see how those issues really tie into our own personal lives.

[Gary Petty] So we really encourage you to watch the programs right here online. That's today's BT Daily.
