The real value of our life is in a relationship with God.
[Darris McNeely] Some of the viewers who write in have a number of very interesting questions. Sometimes people are obviously very discouraged by who they are and the way their life has gone and they write asking for some encouragement and wondering if God indeed does have a place in His plan for them.
[Gary Petty] For some of us it is very difficult to understand how God can love us. We look at ourselves...we look at ourselves as worthless. One of the emails that we got actually the person said, "I feel worthless." What we have to realize is without God none of us really have any worth. We're just temporary chemical beings. But when we return to our Father and our Creator and He changes us, we become the most valuable thing in His Creation. We can become a very child of God.
[Darris McNeely] And that information, that revelation comes as a result of God's calling, God allowing us to make a choice for a better way of life. It's what Christ said through the Apostle Paul here in Ephesians chapter 2 and speaking to a group of people who themselves felt cut off from God, aliens from the promise, not part of a relationship with God, he said, "You have been brought near through the blood of Jesus Christ, you who once were far off" (Ephesians 2:13). Upon repentance, upon the acceptance of Christ, and upon real changes in our life, we can have value. We can experience the love of God. We don't have to stay the way we are.
[Gary Petty] That's the important thing. It involves change. It involves becoming of value by acting and thinking and being literally a child of God. So, stay the way you are and we are worthless. Turn to God and let God change you and get on your knees before God—and you don't need an intercessor, as far as another human being—Jesus Christ is right there beside the Father and He is interceding for you. He knows what it's like to be a human being. And He will be there with you. And your Creator will take you.
[Darris McNeely] The way to a place of value, meaning in life is not all that difficult. It is difficult to make the right choice and then to do what God expects. But it can be done. And it's available to those who do in a very real sense reach out to God.
[Gary Petty. Yes, and get on your knees and reach out to God and ask for Him to come into your life and give you value.

What is your destiny? Why do you exist? Is there a reason, a purpose, for human life? These questions have baffled the greatest thinkers and philosophers down through the ages.
