Missiles are flying and peace deals are crumbling—but what if there’s more happening than meets the eye? Discover how today’s headlines fit into a much bigger prophetic picture—and why lasting peace can only come from God.
[Steve Myers] “Operation Midnight Hammer.” That’s what they’re calling it—a major strike on Iran’s nuclear sites, a preemptive move to stop a growing threat. It sounds serious—because it is.
But this isn’t just one event. It’s part of a much bigger pattern.
Right now you’re hearing reports of a tentative ceasefire.
But you’ve seen this before—missiles fly, tensions rise, and then world leaders try to patch it up with fragile deals. Looks like it’ already been violated.
God’s Word speaks directly to this: “They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ when there is no peace.” (Jeremiah 6:14)
That’s what happening—superficial peace. It looks good for a moment, but it can’t fix the deeper spiritual sickness that drives conflict.
God warned about this through His prophets—Isaiah, Joel, Daniel, and Jesus Himself. Wars rumors of wars, nations clashing. These aren’t just political flashpoints—they’re spiritual signs.
Because the real battle you’re witnessing isn’t just political or military—it’s spiritual. “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood…” (Ephesians 6:12)
There are unseen forces behind the headlines, and we’re moving toward a final crisis.
That may feel overwhelming. But there’s good news: God hasn’t left you without answers.
The Bible doesn’t just warn—it explains; and shows you where all of this is going.
You can make sense of what’s happening, with our study aid “You Can Understand Bible Prophecy” at ucg.org. by connecting current events to God’s greater plan.
Because Isaiah 2:4 promises a future when nations will no longer learn war anymore.
Peace is coming. Real peace—and only God can bring it.
If you don’t know about His plan yet, now’s the time to learn.
So don’t lose hope. Don’t let fear steal your faith.
Stay focused on what God is doing behind the scenes—because His plan ends in something no ceasefire ever could:
Lasting peace. Real hope. A future full of promise.
Prophecy is an integral part of the Bible, God's inspired revelation to mankind. Through it God reveals Himself, His plan for humanity and why we are here. When properly understood, the Bible speaks with a clear, consistent and reliable message that is just as appropriate for us as it was for the people of ancient Israel.
