The two witnesses of Revelation will proclaim God’s truth and perform powerful miracles during a time of global deception led by the beast and the false prophet. Their message will challenge a darkened world, and though they will be killed, God will resurrect them—proving their warning true and urging us to discern truth from lies.
[Steve Myers] Have you ever wondered about the two witnesses mentioned in the book of Revelation? Well, these two people will appear during one of the darkest times that just lies ahead. They'll boldly speak God's truth. They'll perform miracles like Moses and Elijah and warn the world for three and a half years. But here's the twist. At the same time, there's a powerful, deceptive force in play. The Bible calls it the beast and the false prophet. Now they'll appear very convincing, even performing their own signs and wonders, leading many to follow their false teachings. They sound spiritual, but it's all a lie designed to fool people.
That's why you have to be careful. You need to discern between the true witnesses, God's genuine messengers and the false prophet and the beast who spread deception. And it's not going to be that obvious. But knowing the truth, that's what really matters and that's what will affect your life deeply. The two witnesses bring light into a world darkened by lies. They'll speak truth when most won't. And eventually, the beast kills them. And the world celebrates. But after three and a half days, God raises them back to life, proving their message was real. You see, this is both a warning and a hope. God reveals what's coming so we can be ready and so we can choose whom to follow.

Prophecy is an integral part of the Bible, God's inspired revelation to mankind. Through it God reveals Himself, His plan for humanity and why we are here. When properly understood, the Bible speaks with a clear, consistent and reliable message that is just as appropriate for us as it was for the people of ancient Israel.
