[Steve Myers] It is a time to be thankful and oftentimes we overlook some of the most obvious things to be thankful for. I just ran across a couple of statistics that you might be interested in. This article said that if you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head, and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of the world. Do you fall into that category?

It also said if you have money in the bank, no matter how much, a little in your wallet, spare change in a dish somewhere, you're among the top 8% of the world's wealthy. Do you qualify for that category?

If you've never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, the pangs of starvation, you're ahead of 500 million people in the world today.

In fact, if you can read what is written on the board on a BT Daily, that puts you ahead of 2 billion people in the world today.

Are there things that we should be thankful for? Absolutely. No wonder the Apostle Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 he said, "In everything give thanks." So don't overlook the little things. Be thankful in all things.

That's BT Daily. We'll see you next time.
