Are we spending our time during this crisis to draw closer to God?

[Steve Myers] In this challenging time we live in, we are faced with death. The coronavirus is taking so many lives around the world, it certainly causes us to step back and consider our own lives.

How close are we to God? Have we been studying His word? Are we growing in the character of Christ?

You see, situations like this should cause us to look at our own lives and identify where we need to grow, how we need to wake up. In fact, we're told in Romans 13:11, "And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep. For now our salvation is nearer than when we first believe." It's time to assess our lives. It's time to look at ourselves, and examine ourselves, and make sure we are closer than ever to God. So let's draw near to Him, and He promises to draw near to us.
