Magnified

Did Jesus Leave the Pope in Charge?

The Catholic Church teaches that Peter was the first Pope and the Pope has complete authority over the Church on earth. Ground zero for this teaching comes from Matthew 16:18: "I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church." We magnify this Scripture, its context, other passages in the New Testament, and history, to determine if the Bible supports Papal authority.
