How True is "Once Saved, Always Saved"?

Once you’re saved, can you ever be un-saved? Is your salvation ever in jeopardy? On one side is the concept of earned salvation, where your behavior gets you enough points that you deserve saving. On the other is eternal security, where your salvation is secure no matter what you do. This is an ancient debate going back to the beginning of the Christian faith. So let’s magnify the Scriptures to understand: Once you’re saved, are you always saved, or can you lose your salvation?
