Hurt By Church? Don't Worry, It CAN Feel Like Home Again

A lot of believers have walked away from organized religion, sometimes out of pain, disappointment, or exhaustion — sometimes it’s all of the above. Today, we’re going to explore why so many Christians are choosing to do faith alone, and what Scripture says about the importance of gathering together. But this isn’t a guilt trip; if you’ve been hurt by church, this is an invitation to rediscover God’s design for community, family and faith. 

Church isn’t about buildings or politics; it’s about people learning to love, serve, and grow together under Jesus. It’s not just about believing… it’s about belonging.

In addition to serving as the host for Magnified, Micah is a script writer, producer, and content creator. He is a 3rd generation Christian living in Columbus, Ohio and serves as a deacon in his home congregation. He graduated from Ambassador Bible College in 2019  and served on the program’s staff after graduation. Micah operates his own theology and apologetics podcast called “Truth Be Told,” and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
