So Wait, Are Ghosts Actually Real?

The Bible has a lot to say about ghosts: Saul asked a medium to commune with the ghost of Samuel the prophet, and the long-dead Moses and Elijah appeared during the transfiguration. Scripture tells us “the dead know nothing” (Ecclesiastes 9:5), that the dead stay dead until Jesus Christ returns and brings about the resurrection — yet here we see ghosts. What do we make of these, and other, ghost accounts in the Bible?
