Habakkuk’s Hope
In Habakkuk 2:14 we find a beautiful Millennial picture that describes the earth being filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. It’s a vision of what will be and just like Habakkuk, this is a great source of hope for us. However, this will require that we walk by faith because what we see happening in this present evil world is far from what this promised time will be. We must have our hope in nothing less than the Kingdom of God and the One who can fulfill this promise. Habakkuk’s Hope was grounded in Faith that God would do what He promised, our Hope must be as well.
