Sermonette: David Metzel
Title: “Great Exploits”
Synopsis: On Pentecost in 31 AD, Peter stood up and started preaching by quoting the prophet Joel saying that God will be working in His people in special ways before the return of Jesus Christ.  In the book of Daniel, it says that at the time right before the return of Jesus Christ that God’s people will be strong and do great exploits.  We need to be ready to be the people of God and be used by Him.

Sermon: Darris McNeely
Title: Who Are We And What Are We To Do?
Synopsis: The meaning of the Feast of Pentecost gives the Church its focus for its mission and purpose. The first fruits have a unique role in the plan of God and the United Church of God has a vital part to play.
