God holds all of us, individually and collectively, accountable for advancing the mission of His church.  The Bible dramatically shows what God expects of each of us in order for His work to be blessed.

Grant Chick

Grant Chick was ordained an elder in 2007 in Durban, South Africa. In January 2008 he and his family emigrated to Brisbane, Australia to take up a full-time position with UCG in Australia. He pastored the Toowoomba, Wide Bay and Gold Coast congregations until he was transferred to Perth, Western Australia in 2016. He now serves the United Church of God congregations in Western Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. He also serves as the Director of Operations for UCG-Australia

Rick Shabi

Rick Shabi (1954-2025) was ordained an elder in 2000, and relocated to northern Florida in 2004. He attended Ambassador College and graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, with a major in Accounting. After enjoying a rewarding career in corporate and local hospital finance and administration, he became a pastor in January 2011, at which time he and his wife Deborah served in the Orlando and Jacksonville, Florida, churches. Rick served as the Treasurer for the United Church of God from 2013–2022, and was President from May 2022 to April 2025.
