We thank God that historically very few UCG members have been affected by natural disasters, but do wish to be prepared to help when disaster strikes; we also want to be available to help others in our communities.
We are collecting funds to aid our brethren to rebuild following the destruction caused by Typhoon Tino.

During the dry season, and in recent years, their crops have failed or they have been unable to plant sufficient crops due to severe droughts. Drilling deep wells will help ensure they, and their neighbors, have sufficient water to plant and grow their crops. This will, in theory, help lead them to some independence when it comes to food security.
