Bearing Fruit in Every Season of Our Lives

The United Church of God - Orange County invites you to sharse our 23rd women's enrichment weekend with us at the same beautiful Embassy Suites in Brea where we enjoyed our weekend last January.

As Christians we are to bear fruit while going through the various seasons of change in our lives--each season with its ups and downs, highs and lows. But God is with us as we meet these different challenges and bear fruit throughout our lives, so we can positively affect those around us.

This is also a time to renew friendships and make new ones throughout a weekend of learning, fellowship and relaxation.

“That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers” (Psalm 1:3).

Lodging

The Embassy Suites in Brea, California is a highly rated Embassy with underground parking. The location is in northern Orange County and adjacent to the Brea Mall which is just west of the 57 Freeway and just north of Imperial Highway. Unfortunately, there is no airport shuttle service offered.

The rooms are two-room suites with at least 500 square feet, complete with their own living rooms with a couch/sofa bed, microwave, mini-refrigerator and sink. The rooms have two double beds (or a king-size bed) plus a couch/sofa bed in the living room. There are fewer rooms in this hotel so please reserve as early as you can.

Our meeting room is near the atrium on the main level. A complimentary buffet breakfast is included for those spending the night, as well as drinks and simple snacks from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Please contact Jean Updegraff if you have any questions.

Activities

This year we will again have a fundraiser raffle. Proceeds are planned to help fund a women's weekend in Mexico so others can share in this special experience. If you plan to donate items or if you have any questions, please contact Carolina Clark by early January at: davidycarolina@verizon.net.

Hundreds of women have enjoyed and profited from attending these special weekends through learning, laughing, sharing meals together, encouraging one another and bonding as we fellowship with other women of like minds. We hope you can join us again or for the first time.

Dress
