Women's Enrichment Weekend - Spokane, Washington 2026

to
Seasoned with Salt: Using Our Words to God's Glory

Our words shape our relationships. We are told that the Proverbs 31 woman opens her mouth with wisdom (verse 26). We are further admonished by the apostle Paul to, “Let [our] speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt . . .” (Colossians 4:6). We hope you will join us for our 24th women’s weekend, whether as a repeat attendee or for the first time, as we explore the art of godly communication, how salt plays a role in that, and using our words to God’s glory. Come and renew old friendships and make new ones in a beautiful wooded location on a lake.

Decorations Needed

If you have a pair of pretty, unique, or whimsical salt and pepper shakers, please bring them along to help us decorate. All will be returned.

Share Your Talents

If you knit, crochet, quilt, make soap/candles/jewelry, paint, do photography, pottery, origami, sew, etc., please bring along a sample of your work to display.

Service Project

Our area has supported a local food bank, 2nd Harvest. They typically receive canned and boxed goods. Since our theme is on the topic of seasoning, we invite you to bring seasonings, spices, spice mixes, or flavorings to donate for the families they serve.

Special Music

If you can accompany hymns, or would like to contribute to special music, either vocally or instrumentally, please contact Darla Moody. dmoodypad@yahoo.com (509) 217-7775.

Accommodations

Housing will be in A-frame cabins. Each cabin has a full bathroom and there is a separate bathhouse with more facilities. Optional housing for those with special needs is available.

Things to Bring

Bedding and pillow, flashlight, towel(s), water bottle, personal toiletries. If you are flying in, please let us know and we will assist with bedding needs.

Dress

Dress for the weekend will be casual. However, we request that nice casual attire be worn on the Sabbath. Heels are not recommended since all paths and roads are dirt/gravel.

Menu

If you plan to eat any portion of a meal, you must pay the full price of that meal. Some gluten-free options will be available at each meal. Additional gluten-free and dairy-free items will be available for snacks. Refrigerator space is available for those with other dietary restrictions if you need to bring your own food.

Cost

See the registration form for detailed price information. If you need financial assistance, or if you can provide some assistance to help someone else attend, please complete the appropriate section on the registration form.
