Janet McGuire Hendershot, member of UCG Ocala, FL church, has been writing all her life. She published an article in the UN in July, 2005, about the death of their granddaughter, Matrina Williams, who was killed on a go-cart accident in 1997 at aged twelve.
Janet is the Ocala church UN correspondent and has published several articles about church events through the years.
She was published by Publish America in 2006 with a safe mystery novel, Backyard Burial. Her new novel, an inspirational suspense mystery, Clandestine Cargo, is to be published by Sapphire Blue Publishing soon.
She has been married to Ivan Hendershot, her high school sweetheart, for fifty three years. They have been in God's church since 1969. Of their five children, one daughter is in UCG, Tallahassee, FL, Monica Taibl, who is a lawyer. Monica's husband, Tony Taibl, also in UCG, leads songs in Tallahassee.
