Hi Friends,

I trust this update finds you enjoying the highlight of the week: God’s Sabbath. In addition to Sabbath services, we have several things taking place tomorrow. Here is what you need to know as we look forward to coming together once more on the Sabbath (Hebrews 10:24-25).

1. Combined Sabbath Service in Atlanta. Tomorrow, we will combine for Sabbath services in Atlanta. Sabbath services will begin at 2:30 PM. 

As a reminder, we will also have a DEL’s Meeting, Sabbath School and Teen Bible Study classes. See below for additional information regarding these events.

Note: Next Sabbath (12/20) we will have services in Buford and Atlanta, respectively.

2. Under the weather this Sabbath? Tune into our UCG Atlanta Webcast. If you are sick this week, plan to watch the webcast online. To view the service, enter the password tree of life (with no spaces) in the channel password box. The URL location is: https://www.ucg.org/congregations/atlanta-ga

3. DEL’s Meeting at Unity Atlanta on 12/13 at 12:30 PM. We have a DEL’s (Deacons, Deaconess, and Elders) Meeting scheduled in Atlanta tomorrow at 12:30 PM. It will last until 1:45. An agenda for the meeting was sent out in a separate announcement. 

4. Sabbath School and Teen Bible Study Classes. Our next Sabbath School and Teen Bible Study classes take place tomorrow. Students are expected to bring a Bible to class. Phones are not permitted. Here are the dates for our classes this year: 12/13, 1/10, 2/14, 3/14, 4/11, and 5/9.

5. Next Atlanta Bible Study: 12/16. Our next UCG Atlanta Bible Study takes place this Tuesday evening, December 16 at 7 PM. Mr. Jerold Aust will review Hebrews 2 and then go through Hebrews 3. Below is information to attend the study online:

6. Atlanta Soup, Chili, and Bread Covered Dish Meal: 12/20. We will be holding our annual Chili Covered Dish Meal on Sabbath, December 20, 2025. We hope you can join us after church for fellowship and food! Please take note of the following:

1. Volunteers Needed (Men & Women):
   We need help with setup and cleanup.

2. Tell Us What You’re Bringing:
   Please indicate what dish(es) you plan to contribute so we can ensure variety and avoid duplicates.

3. Label Your Items:
   Label all serving dishes and serving utensils with your name.
   • If you purchased an item (e.g., cookies in packaging), please transfer your item to your own labeled serving dish and bring a labeled utensil (such as tongs or a serving spoon).
4. Take Everything With You After the Meal:
   Please take home all dishes, utensils, and any leftovers when you leave.
   • Do not leave containers—disposable or otherwise—on the tables. Cleanup volunteers cannot determine who items belong to or whether leftovers should be saved or discarded.

Afterward, we will play Bunco in the Fellowship Hall. Plan to join in the fun.
