As we head toward the Passover, we're told to examine ourselves spiritually, using Jesus Christ as our Anchor; to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and its personal impact on us; and to form an action plan so we can continue to improve and grow.

This message examines Jesus’ promises about prayer and challenges the modern “manifesting” mindset that subtly teaches we can control outcomes through belief or words. True faith is not certainty in an outcome, but trust in God’s character and a willingness to pray boldly while yielding completely to His will.

Just as a caterpillar undergoes a complete metamorphosis to become a butterfly, Scripture reveals that Christians are called to an inside-out spiritual transformation through the renewing of the mind and the work of God’s Spirit. Though the process involves pressure, struggle, and surrender, God is shaping His people for an eternal destiny far more glorious than we can presently imagine.

From creation onward, the Sabbath was designed as a blessing — a weekly gift of holy time where God’s people cease from work and draw closer to Him. This message explores the biblical meaning of “rest” as cessation, the Sabbath as a sign of freedom from spiritual slavery, and how we can rediscover it as a day of renewal, joy, and delight in the Lord.

This message explores the biblical foundation of the “six days of work” that precede the Sabbath. From creation onward, Scripture reveals a working God who made humanity in His image to live lives of meaningful labor, service, and stewardship. Work is shown not as a curse, but as a God-given calling that builds character, blesses others, and brings order and beauty into the world. In contrast to modern ideas that view work as something to escape, the Bible presents a balanced pattern of purposeful effort, avoiding both laziness and unhealthy overwork. Understanding God’s design for six days of work helps us better appreciate the rhythm of life He established and prepares us to more fully understand the gift of the Sabbath.

In this sermon, we will explore the important question of whether we are under law or under grace?  What did the terms mean to those who heard those phrases?  Thankfully, the Bible provides clear answers for us as Christians.

This sermon examines God’s pattern of providing “just enough,” beginning with manna in Exodus 16 and continuing through examples like Elijah, the widow of Zarephath, and Christ’s teachings on daily dependence.  Faith is not built in stockpiles, but in daily looking to God.

Barrenness in the Bible is one of deep emotional suffering.  This sermon explores how God works through seasons of barrenness to reveal His timing, purpose, and power. Drawing from the stories of Hannah and Elizabeth, the message shows that barrenness is not evidence of God’s absence but the very space where He often performs His greatest work. Even when prayers seem unanswered and hope feels distant, God is shaping something larger than we can see.

“Almost” can be a sad word.  Being so close, yet not completing an objective, not reaching the goal, not receiving the reward carries a heaviness.  In this sermon, we will look at four ways we can be impacted by “almost”.

The first time the word “rejoice” appears in our English translation Bibles is in Leviticus 23:40, where God commands His people to observe the Feast of Tabernacles with rejoicing --- per the words “you shall rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days”. Observant Jews --- who have been keeping this Feast (which they call “Succoth”) for a very long time --- refer to it as "The Season of Our Rejoicing" or “The Time of Our Joy”. Interestingly, it has been an ancient Jewish tradition to read Ecclesiastes every year during this Feast of Tabernacles. Although some have mistakenly viewed Ecclesiastes as a pessimistic book --- it is really a positive book that is in perfect harmony with the theme of the Feast of Tabernacles. This sermon shows how the themes of the Feast of Tabernacles and of Ecclesiastes are in perfect harmony. Both prepare us in the Church for the Work set before us prior to Jesus Christ’s return and establishment of Christ’s millennial rule, which the Feast of Tabernacles prophetically pictures.

Satan is called both the “Prince of the power of the air” and the “Ruler of the world”.  In this sermon we look into how he invisibly attacks humans and we’ll look at the powerful statement that Jesus Christ made that Satan has “nothing in me”.  How can we as Christians make that statement?

For baptized members with God’s Holy Spirit, what does the Bible really say will happen to us, and what does Scripture say we will truly become when the Feast of Trumpets is fulfilled and becomes our reality?  The Bible is clearer than some imagine, and it’s mind-blowing!

This message asks the question --- "Why should we pray to God the Father that His kingdom come?" It will consist of two parts: (1) It will give biblically-based reasons why our prayers to God the Father for His kingdom to come should NOT be for the purpose of hastening (shortening the timeline or "countdown" to the second coming of Christ to establish the kingdom of God on earth; and (2) It will give three biblically-based reasons why God does want us to earnestly and continually pray for the second coming of Jesus Christ to establish the Kingdom of God on earth.

Cherish goes beyond love—it’s about delight, joy, and making our spouse feel like our “one and only.” In this message, we explore how to cherish by lifting up, celebrating, and showcasing our spouse so they feel seen, valued, and treasured.

In this third message of the Cherish series, we focused on how cherishing means making our spouse feel seen, valued, and protected. Love serves as the foundation, but cherish requires intentionality—turning toward bids for attention, listening with focus, and guarding against contempt and comparison. To cherish is to bind up wounds, offer encouragement, and create safety, reflecting Christ’s example with the Church. Cherishing transforms marriage from good to thriving.

This message begins with a brief description of the apostle Paul's spectacular calling, conversion, and commission during the early New Testament Church. It then highlights his unwavering resolve to fulfil the commission Christ gave him to do during the first 18 years of his ministry despite the obstacles and opposition he faced. This prepared him for what he was to face during the Third Missionary Journey. The main focus of this message one specific example during Paul's Third Missionary Journey --- his unwavering resolve to end this journey in Jerusalem in accordance with God's will for him --- despite the many obstacles and much opposition he encountered. The message concludes that we should strive to apply the same unwavering “I must go to Jerusalem!” resolve that Paul had and the end of his Third Missionary Journey: (1) Individually in our personal lives, and (2) Collectively in the work that Christ has given us in UCG to do.
