  • Some Bible prophecies reveal that the darkest days are yet ahead, but is that necessarily bad news? (compare Matthew 24:8; Romans 8:18-23; John 16:21-22).
  • How does God communicate to humankind His will in advance of what will take place? (Amos 3:7; Hebrews 1:1-2).
  • It is one thing to predict that an event will take place and another to bring it to eventuality. Can God bring to pass what He foretells? (Isaiah 46:9-11).
  • In Jesus’ Olivet Prophecy, He warned of a trend that would begin to increase at the time of the early Church and would continue until His return. What was that condition? (Matthew 24:3-5, 11, 24).
  • Jesus prophesied of three other primary conditions that would also be prevalent in our world at the end of the age. What are they? (Matthew 24:6-8).
  • What did Jesus say would be the fate of all humankind if God does not intervene in human affairs? (Matthew 24:21-22).
  • What does God’s Word admonish us to do to be ready for these coming times? (1 Thessalonians 5:4-11; Luke 21:34-36; Mark 13:33-37; Revelation 3:3).
  • Why was Jesus born, and why will He return to the earth? (John 18:37; Luke 1:30-33; Daniel 7:13-14).
  • Many problems can be traced to Satan’s influence (1 John 5:19; Revelation 12:9). Will he be particularly active just before Christ’s return? (Revelation 12:12-13, 17).
  • What knowledge will fill the world as God’s government replaces Satan’s influence? (Isaiah 2:3; 11:9).
