Work progresses this week on the September issue WNP. We have two articles on the theme of the World Tomorrow pointing to the scriptures that describe the time of God's rule on the earth. Another article will deal with the changing demographics of England. I have an article on the sub prime crisis.
In researching my article I went back into my archive of articles and was surprised at how many articles I found that warned of something like this happening this year. We are in a period prior to a major realignment in global financial markets. This recent sub prime crisis has shaken the confidence in the American market. One perception is that there is no credible leadership at the Fed right now. This is a critical area we will be watching.
I think it is important that we all take a lesson in economics here and work to reduce our debt, especially any consumer debt we may be carrying. The less the better.
England is Vanishing
I have a friend in England who recently told me that in a few years he would leave the country for other shores. He said the England in which he grew up is vanishing. Many others feel the same way as this column from Cal Thomas indicates.
Holland is also seeing the same. Thousands are fleeing as immigrants take over.

Darris McNeely
Darris McNeely works at the United Church of God home office in Cincinnati, Ohio. He and his wife, Debbie, have served in the ministry for more than 43 years. They have two sons, who are both married, and four grandchildren. Darris is the Associate Media Producer for the Church. He also is a resident faculty member at the Ambassador Bible Center teaching Acts, Fundamentals of Belief and World News and Prophecy. He enjoys hunting, travel and reading and spending time with his grandchildren.
