Whether it’s sitting on the steps singing songs of praise, or engaging in thought-provoking conversations, this trip has been even better than I could have even imagined.

Sometimes we get so focused on making things right and perfect we forget to stop and laugh and enjoy how wonderful our life really is.

We feel comfortable going about our days without worrying if we look a certain way or if we’re enough for the world. All we need is to be enough for the kids here at Eagle’s Nest, our “castle” on the hill, our new universe.

Hola amigos! It’s been a beautiful, sunny Sunday here in Guatemala City and we have the blessing of being able to spend the day at the park with some of the brethren that we met at services yesterday for a church picnic!

In spite of the cultural differences and the physical distance we have a common mission that bonded us not as friends but as family.
