2025 Feast of Tabernacles: Baguio City, Philippines

2 minutes read time

The Feast of Tabernacles was held in Baguio City, blessed with spiritually inspiring messages, warm fellowship and the spirit of serving and outgoing concern.

Held at the Ating Tahanan grounds of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, the Feast of Tabernacles welcomed 126 brethren this year, including visitors from the United States and Australia.

All the messages were uplifting, inspiring and encouraging. The morning main message of the first day, delivered by our senior pastor Mr. David Dobson, talked about the “Gift of Memory.” We were also privileged to hear from Matthew Sieff of Sydney, Australia, who gave a number of inspiring messages helping us focus on God’s desire to save us and all of humanity through His plan of salvation.

The activities were enjoyed by both young and old alike, including wholesome fun, food, fellowship and games. The youth day was held on the second day of the Feast. Among the activities were fun and games for preteens and teens and an evening question-and-answer Bible study conducted by the festival coordinator. Family activities were held on the fourth day.

The seniors’ social and dinner was held on the third day and hosted by our teens and young adults. Many of the seniors in attendance sang and danced at the event. It was indeed a night to remember.

A variety show was held on the sixth day of the Feast. Many among the brethren volunteered and contributed a number of songs, dances and instrumental performances to entertain everyone present. The evening ended with everyone joining in the singing.

The Feast gave us a much clearer vision of what that Kingdom will be like and how we can prepare for it. We are thankful for the warm fellowship, the spirit of serving and outgoing concern the brethren shared and experienced here in Baguio City to make this year’s Feast spiritually memorable. We believe this has been one of the most spiritually inspiring and best Feasts ever!
