This year, 910 members experienced the beauty of God’s creation along the Gulf Coast, as they kept the Feast of Tabernacles

This year, 910 members celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles and Eighth Day in Panama City Beach, Florida. It was delightful to experience the beauty of God’s creation along the Gulf Coast, with members traveling from areas around the United States and Canada. Additionally, we were blessed with ideal weather, which enabled families to enjoy the beautiful beaches and attend a variety of outdoor activities.

Many brethren expressed their appreciation for the encouraging messages that pointed to the millennial reign of Jesus Christ, including specific Bible studies that were offered for the teens and young adults. Several Feast-oriented classes were available for preschoolers, grades K-2 and grades 3-5, plus a craft table was open for young children.

Special music was an essential part of each service, and all were thankful for those who volunteered. We enjoyed hearing from the adult, teen and children’s choirs, along with numerous music performances which praised God and added to everyone’s Feast experience.

Various activities were planned for all ages, including a family dance and game night, a senior luncheon, a golf tournament, and family day at the St. Andrews State Park. In addition, the teens enjoyed games and dinner on the beach, and the young adults gathered together at the Coconut Creek Family Fun Park, followed by dinner at Pineapple Willys. The singles also built new friendships as they enjoyed an evening together. Near the beginning of the Feast, each of these groups also had the opportunity to meet before or after services to become better acquainted with their peers.

Throughout the entire Feast, the serving attitude of our brethren was outstanding! Truly, the example of Jesus Christ was reflected each day as volunteers stepped-up to help fellow members with having a very memorable and inspiring eight days. We are extremely blessed to be invited to God’s festivals and to understand the profound meaning of His great plan for all mankind!
