2025 Feast of Tabernacles: Club Miléade La Gaillarde, France
Over 230 brethren gathered for a wonderful time of rejuvenation and spiritual strengthening at the Feast of Tabernacles in Club Miléade La Gaillarde, France.
“Bonne Fête des Tabernacles!” This year, 236 brethren from 12 different countries came together to celebrate God’s Feast at Club Miléade la Gaillarde on the French Riviera. The site’s hillside position overlooked the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea and God blessed us with breathtaking sunrises many mornings, during which one could sit on the terrace and peacefully enjoy a café au lait while contemplating God’s creation and Christ’s coming millennial reign. Each day we enjoyed delicious, leisurely buffet-style meals which were served only a minute’s seaside walk from the meeting hall, allowing brethren ample time to blend food and fellowship.
We enjoyed excellent spiritual messages (alternating day-by-day between French and English), focusing on the nature of God’s Kingdom and how we must prepare ourselves for Christ’s rule while serving as His representatives in today’s world. On the Eighth Day, we held stimulating interactive Bible studies in the morning on the subject of the second resurrection and the Great White Throne Judgment, and we closed out the festival with a final regular service in the afternoon. We were particularly blessed this year with an abundance of special music presented by talented musicians from around the globe, including adult, teen and children’s choirs.
We also held a lively talent show which beautifully blended music, dance and humor from a diverse set of cultural backgrounds which helped Feastgoers bond and connect to one another as one family from many lands. Many brethren also took the opportunity to attend three guided tours offered during the Feast. This year, these included walking and shopping in Old Nice, a visit to the spectacular Belle Époque gardens and mansion of Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, and a delightful afternoon in the 16th century hilltop village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a favorite destination for many famous artists through the centuries.
We truly felt God’s presence among us throughout this Feast, and we give praise and gratitude to our Father for the spiritual nourishment which continues to lift us as we press forward to the Kingdom.
