2025 Feast of Tabernacles: Ouidah, Benin
The Feast of Tabernacles in Benin was a time of great rejoicing and spiritual edification.
The Feast of Tabernacles was held at our usual site in Ouidah. This year, 22 of us gathered together with one heart to celebrate our God in joy, peace and gratitude. Each person came with a deep desire to honor the Lord, to live these Holy Days to the fullest, and to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among God’s people.
Each day, we listened to the Word of God, received exhortation and meditated on His work in our lives. The evenings were devoted to rich and profound Bible studies, where everyone could ask questions, share their experiences and strengthen their faith. These moments of sincere exchange nourished our spirits and strengthened our fraternal bonds.
The celebration took place in an atmosphere of joy, fellowship and simplicity. Several games, songs of praise and Bible film screenings punctuated the celebration, providing moments of relaxation and fellowship.
The spiritual messages received throughout the week encouraged us to keep our eyes fixed on God and to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness.
It was touching to see how students found favor with their teachers in asking time off for the Feast. The teachers remarked, “Let them go to their celebration, because even if we refuse, they will go anyway.” They even promised to give students an admission ticket when they returned. This gesture shows how much God has opened the doors for His children, allowing everyone to fully experience these Holy Days in peace and freedom.
We extend our sincere thanks to all those who supported us, near and far, through their prayers, donations or presence. We give all glory to God, who allowed us to experience this Feast of Tabernacles in joy and unity.
