2025 Feast of Tabernacles: Rodney Bay, St. Lucia
This year's Feast in St. Lucia was held at the Harmony Marina Suites near Rodney Bay in the northern part of St. Lucia.
An inspiring Feast and Eighth Day were shared by 35 brethren from the United States., Canada, Dominica, St. Vincent, Grenada, and St. Lucia at Harmony Marina Suites near Rodney Bay in the northern part of St. Lucia.
Our theme scripture was Deuteronomy 31:12, with a variety of sermonettes and sermons focused on aspects of “hearing, learning, fearing God and teaching,” for this life and in God’s future Kingdom. Hymns and special music were inspiring, and our visiting pianist added much to our joyful singing.
In addition to services the fellowship opportunities were abundant: hymn sing and interactive Bible study; public Bible seminar (with eight guests); ladies’ mingle and ladies’ interactive seminar (Psalm 46:10); teen/young adult “What is Your Vision?” sessions; family day at Pigeon Island (with lunch, hike and games); an island tour by bus to the west and east coast (including Micoud chocolate and coffee stop); a karaoke evening with games and dancing; an afternoon catamaran cruise along the west coast down to the Pitons returning at sunset; and a last evening together to enjoy snacks and drinks at the end of the Eighth Day!
We thank elder Kelland Barthelmy, his wife Beverley, and all the St. Lucian brethren for planning so many opportunities to share experiences and make memories. For two of the St. Lucian ladies, it was their first Feast of Tabernacles, and both set a wonderful example of service using their gifts and talents.
God’s blessings upon us were evident—from allowing Gus and Vera Joseph to travel from Dominica at their advanced age, to good weather and His protection, to the unity and joy we experienced throughout—what a wonderful Feast this year.
