2025 Feast of Tabernacles: Hershey-Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

2 minutes read time

In Hershey-Harrisburg, 240 brethren kept a a memorable and spiritually-rich Feast of Tabernacles.

Inspiration, fun, and fellowship opportunities were abundant as 240 brethren spent eight days of Feasting in Hershey, Pennsylvania!

The fun began on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles when all in attendance were given a “Welcome to God’s Feast in Hershey” gift of individually wrapped candies. All of the children attending the Feast could pick up a personal activity book that offered each of them an opportunity to select a small gift each day of the Feast if they completed the Fruits of the Spirit activity that day.

On Wednesday we held our family day at a local rural park that was situated in a very beautiful millennial setting! The day was filled with a nice lunch and plenty of sports
related activities. Some other activities during the Feast included a trip to see the play “Noah” at the highly acclaimed Sight and Sound Theater, a warm and fun-filled senior citizens’ luncheon and an afternoon for the teens and young adults at Dave and Busters! On Saturday evening, we had a cards and games night with a dessert social mixed in! On Sunday evening, we were immersed in talent and comedy at our annual variety/talent show, which produced plenty of laughs and created many memories.

While a lot of fun, the physical activities were just the icing on the cake. The spiritual focus was primary at God’s Feast! Along with daily services, we had two youth day instruction classes, a teen Bible study, a young adults’ seminar, a Sabbath Bible study for everyone, and a Bible talk offered on Sabbath morning. All of the presenters and instructors did a marvelous job in presenting God’s Holy Word to His people!

On the Eighth Day, most of the brethren gathered for a wonderful buffet lunch together between services that was hosted by the Holiday Inn staff, and it was delicious! As we approached sunset and the conclusion of God’s Feast of Tabernacles and the Eighth Day, we left with new memories, new friends and a longing for the return to God’s Feast Days in the spring!
