2026 Camp Report: Florida
Camp Florida once again welcomed campers and staff for an unforgettable week of faith, friendship and adventure.
One of the largest gatherings in our camp’s history, Camp Florida brought together 172 participants, including 106 campers and teen staff and 66 dedicated adult staff members. The week was filled with excitement, spiritual growth and countless blessings.
God’s hand was evident throughout the week. We were blessed with beautiful weather, safety and an atmosphere that allowed campers to step away from the distractions of everyday life and focus on building friendships, strengthening their relationship with God and having fun in a positive environment.
This year’s theme, “Follow Me,” invited campers on a jungle adventure focused on following Jesus Christ through every stage of life. Through daily Christian living classes, interactive skits, Compass Checks and meaningful dorm discussions, campers explored five key lessons from Christ’s invitation to follow Him.
Of course, camp was also packed with adventure and excitement. Campers enjoyed swimming, canoeing, archery, sports, arts and crafts, gaga ball, water games and the ever-popular Big Swing. New this year was a fishing activity that quickly became a favorite among many campers, providing a chance to learn new skills while enjoying God’s creation. One of the highlights of the week was the annual car race, in which campers raced cars they had built in woodcraft. The week also included competitions, team challenges, an energetic dance party and plenty of opportunities to build lasting friendships.
As we reflect on another successful year, we are thankful to God for His protection, guidance and blessings. We are also grateful to the many volunteers, staff members, parents and campers who make Camp Florida possible each year.
It is encouraging to see young people learning to follow Christ and let their lights shine. We look forward to seeing how God continues to work in their lives and are already excited about what Camp Florida 2027 will bring. Until then, we’ll continue following the One who said, “Follow Me.”
