Beyond Today Print Ads to Reach 8 Million Households in July

Tests of new Beyond Today print advertisements will reach 8,000,000 households in July 2020. Four booklet titles will be advertised in coupon inserts in U.S. Sunday newspapers.

[JUNE 24, 2020] In July 2020 the United Church of God will conduct four tests of half-page coupon advertisements in Valassis “free standing inserts” in a variety of Sunday newspapers. 

Although we have tested and rolled out coupon ads over the past several years which highlighted a variety of subjects, we continue experimenting with other topics covering additional aspects of the gospel message. This is done in order to determine which subjects will potentially attract the most interest in a future, large print advertising campaign.

The upcoming tests will include four new print promotions featuring booklets on prophetic themes. The ads, noted below, will reach a total of 8,000,000 households in the United States. 

After evaluating the response and cost-per-response of these ads, we will consider whether one or two of them could be used in a major print advertising campaign which is planned for January, February and March 2021.
