Most of us have experienced the feeling of numbness at one time or another. Perhaps you slept on your arm the wrong way and woke up with little or no feeling in it. For a short time, your arm feels strange, almost as though it isn't part of your body.
But that is not the kind of numbness I want to talk about today.
I want to focus on spiritual numbness—what it is, and more importantly, how it can affect each and every one of us. Spiritual numbness can develop gradually, often without us even realizing it, affecting our relationship with God and our ability to recognize the spiritual dangers around us.
