For many centuries, nations have fought of the Holy Land in the Middle East.  We know from Bible prophecy that Jerusalem will be the center of turmoil at the very  center of end time events, with some nations and people wanting to destroy the homeland of Israel.  Bible prophecy points that a ruler, that is yet to come, will try to do the same thing.
