Each of our lives are touched by addictions. The journey to recovery begins with first steps. Whether we are looking to be a help to a fellow traveler or if we ourselves struggle with addiction, there are certain changes in our thoughts and actions that must take place. Today we will look at some beginning steps in the process of recovering from addiction.

David has been a math teacher for 30 years in Arizona and New Mexico. He and Laura have been married 33 years, and have two adult sons and one daughter-in-law. David was ordained into the ministry in 2011. He currently serves as the pastor for the Albuquerque, NM, congregation of the United Church of God.
