In light of the increasing shift toward secularism in western civilization and the animosity toward Christians, this message attempts to show the relevance of the gospel message of the kingdom of God and salvation through Jesus Christ in the 21st Century on a personal, national and global level. The relevance of the gospel is clearly demonstrated through the conversion of Paul, once a hater and persecutor of Christians, and with the reason Jesus gave for His ministry in Luke 4:18-19. Paul showed us how Christians can actively participate in the proclamation of the gospel by committing ourselves to become effective Ambassadors for Christ, and then actively live and relate to others on a daily basis as an Ambassador for Christ.
