The religious leaders of Christ's time were satisfied with their standing before God, but Christ's evaluation of their spiritual state was altogether different. In several passages Christ provided the real state of their lives. Philip Aust describes the "woes" that these men generated in their lives and asks us to evaluate whether we may have the same deficits.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Ambassador College, a Master's Degree in Communication from California State University, Fullerton, and a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Oklahoma.
