The Day of Atonement shows how God will offer reconciliation in the future to all of mankind and bring them into a family relationship with Him. Atonement also pictures Christ as the Passover sacrifice for both those God is calling in our present age and will also be the Passover sacrifice for all to whom God will reveal Himself in the future. Satan must bear the guilt and responsibility for misleading mankind into sin and he will be banished from influencing mankind for 1,000 years.
