Being One With God

There is a short and simple phrase given to us by Jesus Christ that sets in motion an important foundation upon which is based our calling. That phrase describes what it means to be a called and converted Christian. That all-encompassing theme found in the true Lord's Prayer of John 17:11, 20-21 is that we may become one with God the Father and Jesus Christ. This is the end result of our calling --- SO THAT THE WORLD MAY BELIEVE THAT GOD THE FATHER SENT JESUS CHRIST (John 17:21). This sermon examines the deep meaning of what being one with God means.
