Well, good evening brethren to our study on the book of Revelation.
Quite a long series I have. We're now on our 25th study. And we saw that the Apostle John was taken to the Lord's day in spirit. That is in Revelation 1 verse 10. And he says, I was in the spirit on the Lord's day. So he was taken that. And the Lord's day, as we studied and we saw, is the day during which Jesus Christ will begin to personally intervene in all political and religious situations. So we saw that precedes that with the heavenly sons. We then also therefore conclude, shall I say, that the main theme of the book of Revelation is to describe the events around that day of the Lord, but also the events which will occur as part of that intervention of God, the day of God's wrath. We looked at that, that the day of God's wrath from Revelation 6, 16 and 17. That he says it's for the day of his wrath has come. And then we saw in Joel 2 verse 11 and towards the end verse 30 and 31, where it says that before the day of the Lord there will be the heavenly sons. So we went through all that. Christ also instructed John, the apostle John, to write how God's church would be affected. In other words, it would survive these last days until the Lord's day. And that instruction was during or through the seven letters to the seven churches. And then also, that's in Revelation chapters 2 and 3. And also our Satan would always be trying to destroy everything that is God's, and therefore particularly God's church. And we covered that in Revelation 12.
John also wrote about events leading up to the Lord's day. And we saw that in Revelation 6, which are the first for horsemen, in parallel with Matthew 24, with Mark 13, and with Luke 21. So we went through all those sections to one degree or another. Then he described the actual prophetic events which will occur during the Lord's day.
Basically, the seven trumpets, the coming of Christ, and the seven lost plagues. That is covered basically from Revelation chapter 8 through verse 16 with some insect bits of additional information that we went through. The actual, the seven lost plagues, which is Revelation 16, initiated events building up to the destruction of Satan's kingdom. So we went through that. Revelation 16, in fact Revelation 15 and 16, so we went through that.
Now, today we're going to move on to Revelation 17. And we have the honorable statement of saying that we'll complete today a whole four verses of Revelation 17. So I'm just saying that in a bit of humour.
But we will cover the first four verses of Revelation 17 verses 1 through 4. But I'm saying that because I want to talk about this topic of spiritual fornication. So let's read Revelation 17 verses 1 and 2.
Then one of the seven angels who had the seven balls came and talked with me, saying to me, Come, and I will show the judgment of the great Ollie, who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabits of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So the theme of today's study, in a sense, is addressing a little bit about this spiritual fornication of this great holid. So what we have basically happening is that Satan influenced over mankind and over the realm of the beast at the end time will proceed from the great holid.
Obviously, we know Satan influences through vibes and through his spirit, because he's the prince of the power of the air. But we see in this section of the Bible a very strong influence that he will be executing over mankind and therefore over the beast. And again, as I mentioned before, in Revelation 13 talks about two beasts, one which is a civil government and another one which is a religious entity, which we're now talking about that religious entity, which is the great holid.
But the civil government is the one that is normally called or referred to as the beast. So Satan's influence over mankind and over the area where the beast rules proceeds from this great holid, which is this, let's call it, second religious beast of Revelation 13. Now, if we quickly jump to Revelation 18 verse 2, we read that, and he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, Babylon, the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird.
So Babylon the Great, this Babylon, this system, religious system, and civil system, and this system of government and financial system of the world, which was in a sense initiated during the time of Babylon, is going to be resurrected and going to be re-emphasized at the time of the end. And a lot of those principles or idolatries of Babylon are today existing today. So what we have here, this Babylon has become a dwelling place of demons in a prison for every foul spirit.
And this is what we have. This great idolat with her spiritual fornication is causing great deception around the world today and will cause even more in the future. Now, Rome, the Roman government and the Roman religion, has inherited mysterious idolatry. Now, why do we say mysterious? Because a lot of people say, oh well, this is Christian. But behind it is actually pagan stuff that came from the days of Babylon, of ancient Babylon. So, Rome has inherited this mysterious idolatry of ancient Babylon and has an history of being drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus, as we read in Revelation 17 verse 6.
So, the woman drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. So, a lot of people have died and will die because of this great holid with this false religion of ancient Babylon. Now, therefore, Rome has basically followed a system which is in complete opposition to the obedience or of obedience to God's commandments. So, it's basically opposing that. And that's why, for instance, in Revelation 14, when it's referring about how the wrath of God through this message of the third angel that we have already addressed in the previous study, right at the end of that, it says, the eye is the patience.
The eye is the capability to endure. At this end time, it's the steadfastness, the perseverance of the saints, which are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Basically, this false religion, this great holid, is in complete opposition to obedience to God's commandments.
So, what we would add to maybe explain a little bit more what the spiritual fornication is, is what is also called syncretism. Now, syncretism is the act of mixing truth with lie or mixing a little bit of something false with something true. Think about it. It's the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It's a mixture of truth and lie. And really, that's how Satan always deceives, because it is very difficult to sometimes discern the truth, particularly in this world, when you have truth mixed with lies. Then after a while, you don't know anymore what is true. Now, as far as doctrine, we are blessed in a way, because we've got the Bible. And so, thy word is truth. So, if you want to find out the truth, we've got to go and look in the Bible. And when the front of the allegiance tell us things, we've got to check it in the Bible. We've got to believe the Bible. That's one of the key things that we've got to believe. When I do my various lessons in baptism counseling, I address two various things that we need to believe. And two of those, one of them is in the Bible, and the other one is in the power of God's Holy Spirit. But the important thing that I want to mention today is that those two work together, because the Bible is the truth. And God's only Spirit through that mind of God, that Spirit of God, that essence of God, that preaching of our conscience that comes from God through His Spirit. And when we check it with the Bible, it then convicts us. So the true and the only true convicting agents are the Bible and God's Spirit. They work together. In other words, I cannot go to a person and try to convince them and speak and argue and convince them about the truth. They'll not get it unless they are believing in what the Bible says, and God's Spirit is working with them, not necessarily in them, but with them, so they can actually start understanding the truth. And then through that, that's how God calls them, because God starts opening their mind to some understanding, and then they start discerning the truth by checking in the Bible. And when they do that, they start filtering out the false ideas that they've had, because that's what St. Croesusan is, puts these false ideas mixed with truth. So you've got this church, whatever church it is, that has got certain truths and certain lies. It's got another church, it's got different truths, I mean, different set of truths and different set of lies. And so, that's the world today. Babylon, confusion, a Babylon. So what we have today is spiritual fornication. We'll talk a little bit more about that, because that's why I said today we're just covering these first four verses. Now, if we consider that there is no other city in the world besides Rome, which fits the biblical description of Revelation 17, which means is this Roman government, the beast, basically a derivative from the resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire to come, and this Roman church, and the syncretism that this church has brought in by mixing truth with lie and influencing the government. So, what do we have? The Israel is portrayed as a hollet, riding the beast. Now, the beast is an empire of 10 kings, the beast to come. We know that. Where she, the hollet, is that this false religion, is a spiritual center of deception, of deception, where deception comes from.
So, that's what we read, for instance, in verse three. So, we carry me away in the spirit into the woman's and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast. A woman is this false church. A woman represents a church, right, sitting on a scarlet beast. This is the beast, the first beast of Revelation 13, right, which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. So, it clearly identifies the beast is that beast of Revelation 13, the first beast, and we saw that in previous descriptions, graphically, and we will see that a little later again. We will see that that beast is going to be reigning in the world again, that beast power, and is going to be, in a sense, spiritually and culturally controlled by this false religion. Right, so let's then understand what we're talking about, about this spiritual harlotry, this spiritual harlotry, basically not just fornication or adultery or whatever it is, but it's this misuse of the Bible. And this harlotry through the spiritual fornication is not from nations which are pagan that do not know God. You see, because that is not what it is. So, when are we going to look at that, based on the Old Testament first?
It is from Israel that they allowed or allowed syncretism or allowed false gods, pagan gods, to be with them and acting as if they were obeying God. And so, what it is, it's from people who externally represent or use God's name. Basically using God's name in vain, right? But they are people who externally represent or use God's name. So, it's people say, I am God's people, for instance, Israel, or I am God's church, but are allowing syncretism, are allowing spiritual false teachings, spiritual fornication into their lives, for instance, or into their congregations. Now, as I mentioned, we could look at it from the point of nations. So, let's look at Israel's apostasy. If we look at sections like Ezekiel 16, we will read a little bit of Ezekiel 16. But if we look at sections like Ezekiel 16, I just want you to glance through it again because in my Bible that is shown entitled God's love for Jerusalem. My Bible's got a little title there. And if you look at Ezekiel 23, if you look at Ezekiel 23, an easy way to remember Ezekiel 23 is very similar to, in a sense, to Matthew 23. But in Ezekiel 23 it says, they committed all the tree in Egypt, in verse 3, and they committed all the tree in their youth. And so, there is there.
Also, I want to draw your attention, even though I don't have a highlighted yarn in my slides, is Jeremiah. Jeremiah, because in Jeremiah 23, there's also woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture. So that's also a 23. Ezekiel 23, Jeremiah 23, Matthew 23. So it's just a way of remembering. Another one is Hosea. The whole book of Hosea is about Israel. And now Israel went wrong. And basically, if you read at the beginning of Hosea, there's this girl, take yourself a wife of oratory. And then he had a child, which is real.
And then she conceived a game, this wife of oratory, and had a girl called Ruhama. No mercy. So the first one is God will scatter. God will have no mercy. And then he had another child, which is Lo-Ameen, not my people. But the whole story is about a story of Israel going wrong, apostasized, leaving the way. So Yahweh have a nation, as I mentioned, Yahyut was not a heathen nation that did not know God. It was a nation that came from Abram, Isaac, and Jacob, a nation that Moses, God, through Moses, took them out of Egypt. And they crossed the Red Sea. So it's a nation that should have known God.
So we're not talking about a heathen nation, but we're talking about from people who externally were supposed to represent God's name. But they represented God's name in a bad way, through a bad example. In other words, they used God's name in vain.
This is spiritual fornication, is syncretism, because while they had an appearance of being God's people, and you know how Christ criticized them and said, you bunch of hypocrites, they were actually doing things wrong into one degree or other, depending on different people. But in the end, they were worshiping and serving other gods. Maybe their god was themselves. Whatever it was, many times they had other gods. And today, Christianity, which supposedly says they know God, supposedly says they represent God's name, Christ Christianity, but they have syncretized, inculcated into their beliefs many false religions. So we're seeing this is what we're talking about, spiritual fornication. Now, as I mentioned, I do want to read a few points of Ezekiel. So let's just look at Ezekiel chapter 16 and just glance through a few verses there in Ezekiel 16. Let's look from section verse 2. It says, Son of Man calls Jerusalem to know our abominations, because this is absolutely evil. It says your birth and your nativity are from the land of Canaan. Your father was an Amorite and your mother eat tight.
And for your nativity on the day you were born, your navel called was not cut, nor were you washed in order to cleanse you. So it was a nation that was not the best, the cleanest nation. That's going back in history to Israel when they were in Egypt. It says in verse 5, No, I pick you. And then it goes on. Verse 6, And when I passed by you, and saw you struggling in your blood, I said to you in your blood, live. Yes, I said to you in your blood, live. So symbolically, as they were in Egypt, and they were struggling, there were a lot of people were suffering in many ways, and God, in God, dressed them up and protected them and took them out. Took them out of that situation. And then it says in verse 9, it says, Then I washed you in water. I thoroughly washed off your blood. I anointed you with oil. I clothed you and embroidered cloth. And so as a nation, they came out of Egypt. And God made, even though with all the things, still by the time, towards the end of the time of David, and at the time of Solomon, made that a beautiful nation. Basically says, I embroidered you with fine linen at the end of a stand, covered you with silk, adorned you with ornaments, put braces on your wrists, I put a jeweler on your nose, earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head. So you see, God, it says you were adorned with gold and silver. Later on in the same verse, he says, you were exceedingly beautiful and succeeded to royalty. But then we read in verse 15, but, but you trusted in your beauty, played the all that.
Now, what do you mean, played all that? Because they started as a nation, having alliances with pagan nations and allowed that paganism to come in and infiltrate. And so, and because of your fame and poured out your harlotry on everyone passing by, who would have it? And so it goes on like that. Look at verse 20. He says, Moreover, you took your sons and your daughters whom you bore to me, and those these you sacrificed to them to be devoured with your acts of allotry a small matter.
And that's what's happening today. The nation of the United States, nations of English-speaking are supposed to be nations that represent God. And what are we doing? We are encouraging, for instance, killing of babies. Many of them not even born. Oh yeah, you can't destroy an eagle's egg, but you can destroy unborn but living children, living in the mother's womb, which is murder, murder. And you're doing that. God is saying that is evil because you are mixing false things, false teachings with the truth. Looking a bit further, verse 26, you also committed harlotry through these alliances and these things. Your acts of hollotry to provoke me to anger.
And look at verse 28. You also played a harlot with this syringe. So you try and make peace with other nations and you break God's laws. Look at verse 36. That says the Lord, because of your fullfiness, because your fullfiness was poured out and your naked and covered in your harlotry with your lovers and with all your abominable idols and because of the blood of your children, which you gave to them. And it goes on. I mean, you can read this whole section. And and then there is a punishment. There is a punishment. You see, so this spiritual fornication in this case was Israel's apostasy. And what happened? We know that God married Israel, but then God divorced Israel. Why? Because of the fornication of the harlotry that they were committing. Look at Isaiah 54. Isaiah 54. Isaiah 54. Look at verse 5. It says, For your maker is your husband. God, the maker is your husband. The Lord of hosts, he is his name. And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel. He is called the God of the whole earth. So, yeah, we have God, or the Lord, which is YHWH. In this case is Jesus Christ. It's referring to Christ in the Old Testament. He is the husband of Israel. And we can see there.
And Israel committed arbitrary. Look at Jeremiah chapter 3. Jeremiah chapter 3 verse 14.
Jeremiah chapter 3 verse 14.
Jeremiah chapter 3 verse 14.
Return, O backsliding Israel, says the Lord, for I am married to you.
I will take you one from a city and two from a family, and I'll bring you to Zion. So, return, basically, repent, and I'll bring you. But those few that will repent, which we've briefly discussed before, which represents the second Exodus, they will be brought back to Zion. Look at chapter 31 verse 32. Jeremiah 31 verse 32. You see, God is very merciful.
Even though people are committing arbitrary through this religious falsehood of the world today, God will still forgive them if they repent, or when they repent. Jeremiah 31 verse 32. He says, but this 32, well, I'll start reading in verse 31. Be all the days are coming, says the Lord, when I'll make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not according to the covenant that I made of their fathers in the day I took them from the land of Egypt, my covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. So God was a husband to them, and they broke that. That is basically adultery. But in the example Yah is of, Yah in Revelation is talking about this great holid that commits fornication. So what we have, brethren, is that false religion is an enemy. You know, the church is considered a virgin, is destined to be joined to a husband. Look at 2 Corinthians chapter 11, 2 Corinthians chapter 11, verse 2. But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. That is verse 3. But in verse 2 says, For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy, for I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. The church is a chaste virgin to Christ. The church is to marry Christ. Now, if the church is going with false religion, then it's no more a virgin. So we have to remain virgins. We have to remain pure from this false religion. Because if we go and mix with this false religion, false religion, it's called fornication. Why? Because it's for marriage. And therefore, it's, and the church is, yeah, warned against spiritual harlotry.
Note that Jesus died on the cross. So yes, Jesus was the one that married Israel. Marriage is until death do as part. So Jesus, at that time, was the word. The word became flesh, the word died, and therefore that marriage that the word had, spiritually speaking, with Israel is null and void. Why? Because the word became flesh, died. Now, as we know, marriage is until death do as part. So Christ, as the word, died. So that marriage is null and void. Now, as a resurrected being, Christ is free to marry the church. And that's what we see in Revelation 19 verse 9, which Christ will marry the church, which is the bride. Let's quickly look at that, Revelation 19 verse 9. It says, and then I said right, bless not those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me, these are the true sayings of God. These are the true sayings of God. And the mere fact that emphasizes that these are the true sayings of God, it is probably a thing we should be talking more about, that we are going to marry Christ. And therefore, if we are going to marry Christ, we don't want to commit all the tree before that marriage. Why? Because if we do, we cease to be virgins. And you know, parables like Matthew 25, the parable of the ten virgins, you want to remain a virgin. And even then, you've got to be careful that you are watching. But anyway, continue. Let's just read James 4 chapter 4. James 4 chapter 4 says, adulterers and altaresis. Do you not know that the friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Friendship with the world leads to accepting the things of the world, leads to spiritual holiday. So when we get friends of the world, it's like committing adultery. That's why it says adulterers and adultaresis. You are stopping being a virgin. So we've got to be very careful with things of the world. So if we go back to the story of Israel, that they made alliances with other nations, what happened? When they made alliances with other nations, you remember the story of Moab and others. What they did? They had their men getting involved with the Moab-biked girls and women. And what happened? It led them away from through God. So the friendship with the world is enmity with God. And therefore, we have to be very careful. There's another scripture that says, do not be unequally yoked. That's basically time, the same thing. Now, understand, sometimes we can be deceived because we think that somebody is in the church, is a follower of God's principles, but we don't know the heart and maybe he isn't or she isn't. So, yeah, it's a danger. And it also says, in other words, in the faith. So, this is the point, knowing the same sort of spirit-faith principles. That's what we need to look at somebody that has got that degree of faithfulness to God. So, when we have a church or a group of people, when they get aligned to some things of the world, for instance, the politics or political powers of the world, and when you start getting involved into the politics of the world, so whether it is a church, whether it is a leader in the church, or whether it is an individual in the church, what do you have? You have a situation where the true spiritual character of the church or of that person starts becoming corrupt slowly, because as they get involved with these things of the world, they start to concede, to allow, to permit certain little things, albeit just a little bit, another little bit, and a little bit. Next thing, they're not keeping the Sabbath or whatever it is, and that it's very dangerous. So, that's one example. Another one is they compromise their own witnessing. How do we witness God's Word? For one, we are supposed to be a light.
How do we witness? By being a light, by being an example. So, if we are compromising our teaching of God's Word, our understanding of God's Word, why? Because we are friends with the world. We are allowing spiritual poetry. And then, the effect is that it causes like religious drunkenness. It causes religious drunkenness, and it has a devastating effect. So, false religion, false teaching, false doctrine, is always one of the true religion's worst enemies.
Because you have these false things filtering into the church, and we have to be careful. We have to be very careful with that. Oh, we gotta show kindness to these people. I'm not saying that we must not show kindness to these people. I'm not saying that we are now going to be rude and nasty, but we have to be firm on the truth. And we get sometimes people that come into the church and say, oh well, but it's only this or this other little thing. It could be this little thing, or that little thing, or this Jewish-like thing that's filtering in, or whatever it is.
And it's not according to the pure teaching of Christ. And we gotta be careful, because this filters in, and then what causes drunkenness, spiritually speaking. It creates an environment of, as if you're being drunk, in regard to spiritual things. And then you don't know anymore what is what. Then you start getting confused. So we gotta be careful. We gotta be firm. So false religion is an enemy of the truth, and we gotta be careful of that.
Now, let's look a little bit more in Revelation 17 verse 3. That it says, and the woman sitting on a scarlet beast. So we have this woman, which is this false church, sitting on a scarlet beast, which I mentioned before, which is this resurrection of the Roman Empire. It is the same beast as in Revelation 13.1, as I highlighted before. However, it's only after the fall of the Western Roman Empire. That was in 18476.
So after the fall of the Roman Empire, then there was this Holy Roman Empire that came up, the resurrection. And that was after the first three orms were pulled out, which was the fandoms, the Eruly, and Ostrogoths, which were destroyed at the instruction of the papacy. Now, what I'm saying in this last sentence is a lot, but if you refer to our study number 22 on the book of Revelation, it goes into what I've just summarized here in short sentence in a lot more detail. So the beast is the restored Roman Empire under the influence of the Catholic Church. So we have this woman, which is a Catholic Church, writing this resurrected, restored Roman Empire, and this woman's religious power, and the beast's power are the two working together.
So the woman is the religious power, and the beast is the political power. So the beast carries the woman. You know, the woman is writing the beast, so the beast is actually carrying the woman.
So the beast kind of, in a way, gives a platform for the woman. So this Roman Empire creates a platform for the false Church. So that's why we see in Revelation 13, the beast is the first, the civil government, the beast is the first beast. Then later on, in verse 11 of Revelation 13, then you have the second beast, which is the woman, which comes into the scene as if it's carried by the first beast. But apparently the woman has a dominant role over the beast, because it's riding it. It's like somebody that rides a horse controls, to some degree, the direction of that horse. So it has a dominant role of the beast. The seven heads that are referred to the other seven heads and ten horns, are various forms of successive governments that have happened. And then the ten horns are the ten kings who roll simultaneously at the time of the end. Now brethren, I went through this in previous studies in great depth. I use this chart. As you can see, this is like the second part of the chart that I've used. And I compared Daniel 2, Daniel 7, Daniel 8, Revelation 13, and Revelation 17. So now we are in Revelation 17, and we see this woman, the Scottish woman, riding the beast. And these are the different heads, which is the different governments.
When we look at Revelation 13, it had ten horns, and three were pulled out, which I mentioned earlier on. Those are the ones that were pulled out. So the Catholic Church only came to ride, which is this two-horned lamb. The Church only came to ride and pulled out by its root the first three horns. And then the seven remaining horns are what is called the seven heads. Why? Because the woman, the Catholic Church, only rides the beast, which has these seven horns. But in this analogy, it represents the seven heads. So we've gone through this. We've also went through the various heads, which are the different resurrections of the Holy Roman Empire. And there is one to come, which is the revived Roman Empire with ten dictators, which is still to come. And again, this is clearly indicated because it's tied to Rome. So it clearly positions that. So as I mentioned, you need to go back to previous studies where I went through this in more detail. Now, as we come towards the end, we need to understand that spiritual fornication is a serious offense.
So this Church controlled government will be established. So this government, which is the beast, which will be controlled by this Church, will be established. And then the Great Tribulation will come. We went through that. We showed you on a timeline as well. And so let's go back now to Revelation 17 verse 4. And it says, The woman was a raiding purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup, full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. So this ecclesiastical pomp, this religious attire, is in direct contrast with the simplicity of godly adornment. If we look at 1st Timothy chapter 2, 1st Timothy chapter 2 verse 9 and 10. In 1st Timothy chapter 2 verse 9 and 10, it says, In like manner also that the woman adorned themselves in modest apparel. So obviously, in yeah, in Timothy is talking literally about a lady. But there is a spiritual analogy or perspective, yeah, that we can adopt to this because the spiritual woman, which is the Church, should likewise as an entity, the Church should be a modest, should be the Church, should be behaving in godliness, and the Church should be producing good works. And yeah, we have an organization, spiritual organization, a Church, a woman with her pomp and attire of gold and precious stones, but it's being misused.
And they're using that with a mixing truth with life. In other words, a filthy fornication, spiritually speaking. And so when it says, yeah, in a hand, a golden cup full of abominations and the fullfiness of a fornication in the Bible, the crime of spiritual fornication is referred to as a very serious offense. So, mixing truth with life, syncretism, allowing other ideas to falter into the Church, allowing these such nice people bringing in wrong ideas and condoning it in a way because we don't act in a proper way, in a godly way, because we don't act.
That is a serious offense because it can bring people to go the wrong way. It is spiritual fornication. So, syncretism is abominable to God. Now, I just want to mention something interesting with my own personal experience. Those people to whom it is most difficult to teach the truth of God, who are they? When you try and teach somebody the truth of God, some new people come into the Church and you find some people it's really difficult to teach the truth of God. Which people are those that it's very difficult to teach the truth of God?
It's those people that have been previously deceived by false Christianity and by the false and hypocritical, out-to-word display or show of worship. You see, those people that know certain things about the Bible and this and that, but it's twisted, it's very difficult to teach them the truth of God. For reasons like this, syncretism is something which is very serious.
Well, brethren, that's where I conclude today. I thank you for your attention. And then, on the next study, we'll continue with Revelation 17.
