After 40 Years of wondering in the wilderness, Israel crossed over the Jordan river and immediately faced the fortified city of Jericho. Though seemingly impenetrable, God miraculously intervenes and gives victory to the Israelites by casting down the walls that served as the strongholds of the city. This monumental event apparently coincides with the Festival of Unleavened Bread. What lessons can we learn from this account in our observance of these days?
