Most people don't think of whether certain meats are clean or unclean
This sermon examines what the Bible says about clean/unclean foods Scripture says that God's people are to be a holy, precious people that is set apart for a special use.
God's people today, as Israel of old, were set apart various ways, one of which was through their avoidance of certain meats declared unclean by God.
This sermon shows that God's food laws were disigned to protect His people from all kinds of diseases and assist in helping His people to live abundantly and be in good health. Clean & unclean meats are well defined in Lev. 11 and Deut. 14. This sermon aslo covers the medical perspective on many of the meats considered unclean. So-called proof texts used to show all meats are good to eat are explained thoroghly, showing that they had nothing to do with God's clean/unclean food laws.
God expects us to obey Him and learn to distinguish between the holy and unholy and between the unclean and clean.
