The Israelites physically marched out of Egypt on the first Day of Unleavened Bread, but they weren’t willing to fully let go of their old ways and enter the promise land. Could we be guilty in a similar manner as we claim to follow Christ, yet hold on to some "leaven" that won’t be allowed into the kingdom of God?

Doug Wendt is a 1977 graduate of Ambassador College with a BS in Physical Education. His career included work as an electrician and General Contractor. Doug was ordained into the ministry in 2013 and  previously served congregations in Orlando, Jacksonville and Ocala, Florida. He now pastors the United Church of God congregations in St Petersburg and Tampa, Florida.
