Enjoying physical blessings certainly isn't wrong. But, why is it so difficult to be content? Especially in our materially blessed nation, it seems that no matter how much we are blessed, many still desire to acquire more and more. Satan started this attitude when, not being content with his high position, wonderful wisdom, beauty and musical talent, he began to covet the very throne and position of God Himself. And Satan influences humans with this same selfish attitude. Fred Kellers shows in this sermon the need for Christians to develop the character of being content with godliness. If we do this, God will bring us into His Kingdom knowing we will never become another Satan.
