Though all else may fall and crumble under the winds of time, hope remains among the deep-rooted things of God’s plan, purpose for humankind and a central aspect of all His Holy Days. On the 8th Day, we find that the work God is doing, in us and through us, goes beyond just ourselves and eventually extends to all of humankind. It is a day of gathering and opportunity for all. A day of remembering. A day of hope. Hope is the driving power and outermost edge of faith for you and I, and in Hope, despite the past or even because of it, we can keep our eyes on the future. The dry bones may cry out, Our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off! But God cries out You shall live.
